Pastor Heath has served at New Hope at Pastor since 2009. He grew up just down the road in Caraway, Arkansas. He and his wife Candace meet in Hannibal Missouri where they both graduated from Hannibal-LaGrange University. His Bachelors degree is in Secondary Education, and he is also a teachers in an area school teaching junior high Business Education Courses though the week. Heath & Candace have three children and stay busy serving the Lord and keeping up with the kids.
What a pleasure it is to serve along side you, my dear family at New Hope Baptist Church. God has given us an overwhelming task in taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the mission field around us, and to the corners of the globe. Though the task may seem impossible, He has provided us with all we need to make it happen. We are equipped with the Word of God and empowered though the Holy Spirit and prayer.
It is amazing to work with so many willing servants who have a genuine desire to see God at work. Whether it is working with children in Vacation Bible School, youth during the week, driving all over the state dragging the block party trailer behind us or putting a new roof on a widow's house -- you are always ready and eager to serve.
My family is excited to see what God has in store for our body and we continue to seek His face daily. I know you will be on board as we follow in His steps. Let's stay "Christ Centered, Family Focused & Reaching Out!"
